USC is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri and provides specialty geotechnical services relating to underground mine stabilization and development, shotcrete application, fly ash services, and specialty shoring. We have worked above and below ground with mine owners, developers, general contractors, and engineers throughout the Midwest since 1989.

USC was originated to serve the needs of Briarcliff Development Company to stabilize the inactive limestone mine below its real estate developments. We continue to be an affiliate of Briarcliff Development Company, which is well known for its upscale community developments in Kansas City, Missouri.

USC has expanded to provide its services to limestone mine operators, general contractors, and developers in Kansas City and throughout the Midwest. With our MSHA Part 46/48trained crews, USC has the capability to begin working on MSHA regulated sites without delay. We take pride in our safe working habits and our ability to complete quality projects in a timely and cost effective manner.
